穴在脐中。脐为胎儿气血运行之要道，如神气出入之宫门。

Meaning

Shen, spirit; que, palace gate.
The point is at the center of the navel which is an important passage for the circulation of fetal Qi and Blood, like a palace gate of the Qi of spirit.

定位

脐的中间。

Location

in the centre of the umbilicus.

主治

1. 肠病要穴，治腹痛，腹胀，肠鸣，泄泻等。
2．急救虚脱，常与气海、关元配合使用。

Indication

1. abdominal pain, distention, diarrhea, borborygmus.
2. collapse in first aid, often used with Qihai and Guanyuan.

针法

填盐灸或艾条灸。

Method

moxibustion with salt or stick.

备考

禁针 治虚脱要穴。

Contraindicated acupuncture. Main point for collapse syndrome
