主症

发病缓慢，始则仅在大便时感肛门胀坠，时或脱出，便后能自行回纳，经久失治，则稍有劳累即发，脱垂后收慑无力，须以手助其回纳。或伴有神疲肢软，心悸气短，面色萎黄等症，舌质淡，苔薄白，脉多细弱。

Main Manifestations

The onset is slow. It starts with distending and draggling sensation of rectum during defecation, returning to normal after the bowel movement. If it is sustained without proper treatment, recurrence may happen by overstrain and the prolapsed rectum fails to return spontaneously without the aid of the head, or accompanying with lassitude, weakness of limbs, shortness of breath, palpitation, sallow complexion, the pale tongue with white coating, thready and feeble pulse.

治法

取督脉、足太阳、阳明经穴为主。针用补法并灸。
