| 英文文摘 | Acupuncture and moxibustion developed into a new era in the Song, Jin, and Yuan Dynasties, and had a far-reaching impact on the later generation. It can be summarized as follows. The state attached great importance to acupuncture-moxibustion. For instance, they established special bureau in charge if the collation of acupuncture-moxibustion works, and Office of Imperial Physicians in charge of the education and compiling of acupuncture books like TONGREN SHUXUE ZHENJIU TUJING. Besides, the content of the theories of channels and collaterals was further enriched and perfected, and made orderly, systematic, and standardized. They put equal importance on acupuncture and moxibustion, summed up the methods of inserting needles, and initiated experimental acupuncture. Various schools of doctrines also came into being then.
